A series of tattoo designs inspired by the Borneo Rose tattoo (bunga terung), a traditional motif most commonly associated with the Iban tribe of Borneo.

The design combines the traditional rose symbol with contemporary pattern. The forms created by the negative spaces were initially inspired by traditional North African Berber tattoos.

All designs have been modified out of cultural respect, as many original symbols hold sacred meanings.
