  FIGURE  STUDIES

My work explores identity through a visual language that merges myth, movement, and modern urban culture. Drawing influence from Alphonse Mucha, Donna Haraway, and skateboarding aesthetics, I create hybrid figures that blend classical symbolism with contemporary street sensibilities.

These characters act as evolving archetypes, part deity, part icon, referencing both ancient visual systems and the energy of subcultures. Through etching, collage, and both traditional as well as digital illustration, I investigate how surface, markings, and gesture can embody transformation and narrative.

I’m interested in how visual culture shapes identity, not as something fixed, but as layered, constructed, and in flux. The work is framed with intention but leaves space for ambiguity and future myth-making: a blueprint for what’s yet to come.
